Basically, three types of insurance are available to protect your business: property, liability and workers' compensation. Workers' compensation insurance is required by law in all 50 states. Although property and liability insurance are not always mandatory, it makes sense to protect all of your company assets with property and liability insurance.

I’m going to coat-tail on what “Very Evolved” said… The way you connect to your audience is… Know who you are writing to. You need to pick a Target Audience and stick to them. You wouldn’t write to an audience of 14yr olds the same way you would write to an audience of 60yr olds.

What ever happened? We have a similar situation. We did some research on the internet with shingle manufactures and found that hail damage may not be visible for months to come. We also found that with moisture (rain, snow, etc) additional hail damage may become evident on the roof. We also have Allstate and they only are paying for the back half of our roof. We asked for the 1st adjuster and that is what he found. We then had a second adjuster meet our contractor (who said he say plenty of damage). They went on the roof and somehow they came down and the contractor said he must be crazy he saw nothing (hmmm...amazing). We since did our research and found that moisture shows additional hail damage and some hail may not show for up to a year. We waited until Feb. 2010 found another contractor who was much more formal -- took pictures, measured the roof, etc. He said there was plenty of damage we called Allstate and they said they are done reviewing our roof and their standing is final. I showed the pictures to Allstate and they agreed there is damage, but that the damage is manufactured and not really from natural hail damage. So, in the end one Allstate adjuster did agree with the moisture and both the adjuster and the manager agreed that there appeared to be damage based on the pictures. However, we were accused of Insurance Fraud!

So -- I am just curious, what did you end up doing?
