does home insurance pay to fix a house with sagging floors?
i just brought my home in september and i recently notices the living room floor is detatched about 2mm from the baseboard. what caused this and how do fix? will insurance pay?

If you had something like broken water lines in/under the slab that caused the foundation to move/drop Yes. Poor back fill or bad soil conditions causing the foundation to fail No.
Now, if the house is less than 10 years old it may fall under the builder’s warranty?

Caused by shrinkage and won’t be covered by insurance, when you decorate fill the 2mm gap with a mastic gun. 2mm is quite small the shrinkage cap can often be 6 – 10mm.
