do you care about TV sports?

Question by jl_jack09: do you care about TV sports?
OK, let’s see if I have this right.
You do not pay any Federal Taxes, so you don’t care about the $ 9 trillion in debt ran up by Republicans over the next ten years. You will not pay it. Others will pay it. Mostly younger people, the working class tax payers. The wealthy who got the tax cuts under Republicans will not pay it. Those that got a Capital Gains tax cut will not pay it. Your stock investments are tax free. So you don’t care about Debt. Not your problem.

You are not in Iraq now fighting in the Republican war. You are willing to send others to fight and die there for “Nation Building” or some say “fighting Terrorism” or some say help them become a “Democracy”. Not many now say “Saddam has WMDs” or “Saddam was a evil Dictator” that’s old stuff. You are not willing to pay the $ 2 trillion cost of the Republicans war. You are willing to let others pay that also. After all more people die from Auto accidents than the 2757 dead Americans in Iraq and the 30,000 wounded is not your problem. The over 300,000 some say 650,000 dead civilians in Iraq is also not your problem. So you don’t care about Iraq. Not your problem.

You also don’t care about the 44 million Americans with no basic Health Insurance. After all Half are Women and Children. WE know you don’t care about them. Women should not have 6 kids. Not your problem.
You want to end Social Security for 33 million Americans. Now there is a worthy Republican goal. You hate Social Security. Let them Starve and live in the streets and take away there health care for you. After all why should you care it’s not your Mother or Father. Not your problem.

A Republican here in Ohio wrote the States largest paper. The Dublin Ohio resident said “every Ohio State Buckeye game should be televised”, taking the Ohio State Vs Indiana game off TV is a serious problem in our great State of Ohio and the Nation”.
Ahhh, you do care about Football games on TV.

Neocons keep saying “Democrats have no plan, we do have a plan it’s called “kick the bums out”.
Hillary also has her own plan, you should read it.

reply Goose & Tonic,
Wow, such pure hate. Nice personal insults. This from a person who thinks DDT is not poison. Even as lab test have shown it causes cancer and is poison and it’s production has been banned in this country for many years. Now that’s a really stupid opinion.
The story gave the name of the person. I know him. I play golf with him. I have no problem taking his money at his country club. BTW, I pay for the Gulf.
One of us must have quit school in the 9th. grade, while pregnant. I would not expose any child to DDT

What you say makes sense. Although im not American, im democrat as opposed to republican.
i share your sentiments exactly. however, lets not blame sport at all. politics and sports shouldnt mix. football supporters definitely span the whole political spectrum.
you see, people feel STRONGLY about different issues. therefore it seems that they are sidetracked from the important issues. its a pity nonetheless

When you should care for commercial catering equipment

When it comes to personal property, people can be roughly divided up into two camps: those who care and those who don’t (let’s ignore those who have one foot in both camps).

Those who care about their personal property can be identified by the fact that their cars are tidy and regularly serviced, their homes will be insured (home and contents) and they will check guarantees and do a great deal of research before purchasing any item for the home – especially the kitchen. They will polish shoes and put handbags away into cloth bags for storage, their books will be organised and they will only lend you things after a careful lecture (after which you won’t want it any more).

Those who don’t care give their things away. They are relaxed about their homes and think insurance is a scam. They don’t accumulate items and they don’t worry about losing or damaging things.

So who is right?

While the former might seem like hard work, it could be argued that the latter lacks in appreciation for their belongings and their disposable mentality has been proven to be a poor way of living in our environmentally sensitive age.

While the former might seem like hard work, it could be argued that the latter lacks in appreciation for their belongings and their disposable mentality has been proven to be a poor way of living in our environmentally sensitive age.

Taking care of the things you have saves you money now and prevents waste building up in landfill as well as saving on the energy required to produce more. No one says you need to be highly-strung about it.

This applies to all your belongings. A well-serviced and gently-handled appliance such as a washing machine should last you ten years. Other kitchen equipment should do just as well if not longer – and this applies to commercial catering equipment too.

In fact, your obligation to caring for commercial catering equipment is even greater. This is because dirty, damaged or faulty kitchen equipment can pose a hygiene and health risk to your customers.

As is often the case with public health and environmental issues, what is the right thing for the world around you is also the right thing for you.

“U.S. Senate panel backs well being insurance coverage requirement

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. Senate panel contemplating a sweeping healthcare overhaul upheld a requirement on Thursday that individuals obtain wellness insurance and rejected a proposal that could have scuttled an $ 80 billion White Residence deal with drugmakers.

On their third day of debate, members of the Senate Finance Committee produced slow progress on hundreds of amendments to the healthcare bill, the last of five measures pending in Congress on President Barack Obama’s top domestic priority.

The Democratic-controlled panel defeated on a largely party-line vote a Republican proposal to let individuals opt out of the bill’s requirement that absolutely everyone have wellbeing insurance coverage. The strategy would offer you subsidies on a sliding scale to support individuals get it.

Republicans said the concern was a matter of personal freedom and questioned the constitutionality of forcing individuals to buy insurance coverage.

“The person mandate in this bill is un-American. It might even be unconstitutional,” said Republican Senator Jim Bunning, the amendment’s sponsor.

Democrats mentioned the requirement was essential to the achievement of the overhaul, which aims for a dramatic reduction in the range of uninsured men and women living in the United States. “The technique will not function if this passes,” Baucus said of the amendment.

The panel’s bill, which committee staff mentioned would price about $ 900 billion more than 10 many years, mirrors Obama’s proposals to rein in charges, enhance insurance coverage competitors and regulation and expand coverage to the uninsured.

PUBLIC Alternative VOTES PLANNED

The Baucus proposal does not include a government-run insurance coverage strategy — the “public alternative” — that is incorporated in the other 4 expenses in Congress, and two Democratic senators stated they would seek votes on the problem on Friday.

Democratic Senators John Rockefeller and Charles Schumer mentioned they would bring up public option amendments in order to kick off a discussion on the approach, which is backed by President Barack Obama as a way to create competition but opposed by critics who worry it will harm the private insurance coverage sector.

“This is the starting point,” Schumer told reporters about the debate on a public alternative, which was integrated in the 4 other bills in Congress.

He mentioned the public option would have a hard time passing the a lot more conservative Senate Finance Committee but had robust support in the full Senate and Residence of Representatives.

In one particular of the few votes this week that was not mostly celebration-line, the panel backed an agreement the White House and Baucus struck with drugmakers earlier this year that essential the market to contribute $ 80 billion to the overhaul.

An amendment by Democratic Senator Bill Nelson would have price the business an extra $ 106 billion by forcing drugmakers to pay the government a rebate on prescriptions for low-earnings men and women who are eligible for both the Medicaid insurance coverage system for the poor and the Medicare program for the elderly.

The extra cash raised below the amendment would have been used in aspect to close a gap in prescription drug coverage for some Medicare recipients.

“Did the pharmaceutical business come to the table in the agreement with the White Residence with adequate? There are a range of us who really feel that is not the situation,” Nelson said.

Baucus and two other Democratic senators — Tom Carper and Robert Menendez — joined committee Republicans in voting against the amendment.

“This could nicely undermine our ability to pass extensive healthcare reform through this committee and in this Congress,” Carper mentioned.

Democrats on the panel also defeated two Republican amendments that would have blocked the bill’s cuts in Medicare Advantage, which augments the government’s Medicare insurance coverage system for the elderly with private insurance coverage.

The reform bill would cut $ 123 billion in government subsidies to the Advantage program, which Republicans say could force insurance coverage firms out of the market and adjust or get rid of the advantages for numerous of the program’s ten million participants.

Democrats say the alterations to Medicare would increase rewards and participation more than ten years and shore up Medicare’s trust fund.

The debate has focused heavily so far on Medicare and other programs for the elderly, who as a group are a lot more probably to vote and who polls show are amongst the most concerned about Obama’s healthcare plans.

What caught my focus the most was democrats not letting folks opt out of the plan.
